SUNRISE AT BAGORI RANGE OF KAZIRANGA

The rising of the Sun in the jungle, the beginning of a new day.  End of our Elephant Safari, enjoyed from the bottom of our heart, though sad that the good time drifted so fast. Hope I could have a bit more time to spend amidst the nature.

THE DEER !!

This deer is having a plenty of green grass in the breakfast, as we see it from the elephant's back.  Literally they were very close to us.

THE FIRST SUN RAYS PENETRATING THE DEEP JUNGLE

The first Sun rays cutting the fog entering into the deep jungle through the leaves of the trees.

FEEDING THE ELEPHANT !!!

At the end of our Elephant Safari, we fed the elephant a bunch of bananas.  This elephant ate the banana bunch whole at a time.  These are exceptionally intelligent animals and in no way inferior than humans in terms of emotions, you can relate to them.  Extremely powerful yet extremely calm, until and unless disturbed.

THE BABY RHINO CLOSE UP......

The Baby is very much curious about us -- the humans.  He is new to this world and started to learn about the most fierce animal on the planet Earth - The Humans.

THE BABY RHINO!!

This is the Baby Rhino searching for his mother.  I always find the babies to be very cute. This young boy is just learning the do's and don'ts of life from her mother, who is watching us very minutely.

THE GUARDIAN !!

This was the mother rhino guarding her young one.  These are one of the most ferocious and dangerous animals on planet Earth.  These can attack anything and very territorial.  Especially the mother rhino is always on guard.

ELEPHANT SAFARI

The Elephant Safari begins, this is in the Bagori range. The elephants are generally 6 seater or 8 seater.  It is a jerky ride with lots of swaying.

DHANSIRI RIVER OF KAZIRANGA

This is the Dhansiri River that flows through the Kazirang Reserve forest.  It is a beautiful small river that branches from the Brahmaputra river.  Dense fog covered the forest.  Visibility was very poor.  This is the Bagori Range of the Kaziranga Forest.
